Photography Final

I will do a presentation on grief. I will show the different stages of grief.

 

Social Documentary – Artists begin to see the camera as a tool for social charge, using it to shed a light on injustice, inequality, and the side lined aspects of society.

Compassionate Photography – Photography that is used for building understanding and sympathy by showing a new perspective.

Concerned Photography – Used to describe those photographers who demonstrated in their work a humanitarian impulse to see pictures to educate and change the world.

Migrant Mother -Dorothea Lang captured the suffering of migrant workers affected by the Dust Bowl and the economic fallout of the Great Depression

Tractored Out – The Environment degradation portray the human cost of building a dam that flooded the Berryessa Valle

On the Road to Las Angeles – Two hitch hikers

Shallow depth of field puts the subject in sharp focus with a blurry background. Large depth of field is where everything in the frame is equal in focus.

In the picture I found with shallow depth, it shows shallow depth because the leaf is the main focus with sharp focus while everything else is blurry.

In the picture I found with large depth, it shows large depth because everything is equal in focus.

I think shallow depth looks better because I like how the main focus of the picture is clear. With large depth, there’s no main focus.
